Important Notes about A2 ATX Power Lead
We have designed this product to use a six pin Molex Mini-Fit Jr. connector, also known as a CPU ATX power connector. This was done to keep costs low for you.
- Using the original keyed connector requires expensive components and would triple the cost for you.
- The original components come as raw parts: plastic clip, metal pins, bulk cable and an expensive crimp tool. Using them requires extensive manual labor.
By using existing bulk Mini-Fit Jr. components, we can offer these adapters at a greatly reduced material and labor cost.
This means, however, that this power lead is not keyed. It is possible to install it backwards. Please, do not install it backwards.
WARNING
It is very important that you connect this to your Apple II in the correct orientation.
The clip goes towards the slots. The black wires go towards the keyboard.
By purchasing this product, you agree that JCM will not be responsible for damages resulting from incorrect installation.
Installing this cable backwards will destroy your power supply, computer, and everything attached to it.
