Description

This adapter allows you to connect these Macs directly to a VGA monitor, eliminating the need for an additional DA-15 to VGA adapter. It uses a diode on the sense lines to identify the monitor as a 21″ multiple scan monitor, supporting the following resolutions: 640×480, 832×624, 1024×768, and 1152×870. However, actual supported resolutions depend on your Mac model and the amount of installed VRAM.

With this adapter, you can connect a standard VGA monitor in a cleaner and more streamlined setup compared to using the original two-adapter solution (HDI-45 to DA-15 followed by DA-15 to VGA).

This adapter is compatible with these machines:

  • Power Macintosh 6100
  • Performa 6110-6118
  • Power Macintosh 7100
  • Power Macintosh 8100 / 8115
  • Workgroup Server 8150
